What We Believe

There is one God and creator of all.
Jesus Christ is God come to Earth as a man to save the world. He died in our place and on the third day he conquered death and rose from the grave and later ascended into heaven where he is alive today. Only through belief in Jesus can one be saved.
The Bible is the infallible and living word of God, written by God through many authors over thousands of years.
The Holy Spirit is God’s presence on the Earth today, sent as a helper to guide us and empower us. His gifts of prophecy, miracles, healing, wisdom, knowledge and faith are real and operating now for the edification and strengthening of the church.
The church is the body of Christ, designed by God to be the vehicle through which believers are encouraged, strengthened and empowered.

REVIVE Church of Tampa was started in 2011 by Pastors Doug and Erica Pyle who had a vision to bring a church to Tampa that carries a powerful outpouring of God’s presence and expression of his Holy Spirit in every meeting. This church is family – a multi-generational, local community with a heart for the people and the city of Tampa, and a heart to see people experience breakthrough and victory in their lives.
